Sardar Patel Centre for National Integration

Sardar Patel Centre for National Integration (SPCNI) has been established with the vision and mission of creating awareness towards integrating all cross sections of people, culturally and politically.National Integration is a spirit which brings the people of all dialects and different beliefs together for a common objective. In Indian Context, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel symbolizes unity in diversity of our country.He was an immense thinker, a great freedom fighter, and a great son of Maa Bharti. His commitment to national integration in the new independent Indiawas uncompromising, earning him the sobriquet ‘Iron Man of India’. He was also compared with German statesman Otto vonBismarck, for his stellar contributionin the political unification India.

Sardar Patel Centre for National Integration was established in 2020, under which three post-graduate programs are successfully running as mentioned below:

The objective of the Centre is to achieve academic excellence by promoting Sardar Patel’sinclusive approach to resolve the domestic issues strategically. In his times, Sardar Patelchallenged conventional thinking and helped to manage strategic transitions of Indian historyandculture. As an academic centre, the mission is to gain academic progress and analyse critical policy issues that are both relevant and practical. Therefore, the centre will guide policy makers, public intellectuals, and civil society through an illustrious program of effective publications, conferences, policy briefing, lectures and recommendations.

The Centre will sensitise the students and teachers of social sciences as well as allieddisciplines. It will contribute academicallyby organizing seminars, symposiums, workshops, field visits and cultural activities like theatre, drama and debates. There will be exchange programs of students and teachers of Centre with otheruniversities. It will also create awareness and sensitize people to change the discriminatory attitude ofsociety as visualized by visionary Sardar Patel. Field visits, reviews and commentaries on the persona of Sardar Patel will be the hallmark of this centre.

The centre has been involved in activities as below:
  • Creating the awareness and motivating the students centre has organized the Essay and Poster Competition on 9th of October, 2021 with the theme of Sardar Patel a Nation Builder.
  • On the Occasion of 146th Birth Anniversary of Sardar Patel Center has organized the Award Distribution function on 26th October, 2021.
  • Centre has celebrated National Unity Day on 31st October, 2021 in which Her Excellency Honourable Governor of Uttar Pradesh Smt. Anandiben Patel, Vice Chancellor Prof Ravi Shanker Singh and Member of Parliament Ayodhya Sri Lallu Singh participated and apprised about the significance of the theme.
