Health Centre in the Campus

Dr. Rammanohar Lohia Avadh University is running a Health Center for students,employees and university faculty members. Health centre is providing consultation in Allopathy, Gynaecological and Obstetrics, Homoeopathy and Physiotherapy. Dr Deepshikha Chaudhary (M.B.B.S., D.G.O., P.G.D.S.) is working as Incharge and consultant (OBYGN), Dr. Deepsha Dubey (B.H.M.S.) as Homeopathic consultant, Mr. Amarnath Panday is working as senior Male Health Assistant and look after pharmacy, Mrs. Padma Devi is senior female health assistant and Mr. Sunil Kumar Yadav is serving as Peon in health centre.Our Physiotherapy department is fully equipped with electrotherapy and exercisetherapy. The pharmacy dispenses the prescribed medicines under prescription. Minor procedures and emergency services are provided for hostel students and staff members by experienced and trained health assistants. Day care facility for students and staff is provided under guidance of Allopathic consultant. Health centre observes the Heart Health week, Diabetic Week, PCOS(PolycysticOvarian Syndrome) month and participate in all university Health outreach programmes along with activity club and Mahila Adhyan Kendra. The zealous constants and dedicated staff of Health centre provide medical coverage in all events of university like Great Divya-Deepotsav in Ayodhya, Marathon, Half Marathon, Inter-university competitions, Departmental,National and International conferences to all dignitaries, volunteers and delegates.The consultants also arrange awareness programs and seminars for endemic, epidemic and pandemicsfrom time to time.
